万世之宗歌钢琴谱-J. Albert Jeffery

《万世之宗歌》，英文Ancient of Days, Who Sittest Throned in Glory，是美国圣公会奥尔巴尼教区主教William Croswell Doane（多恩），在1886年为庆祝奥尔巴尼城建市200周年时，所写的一首歌颂三一至尊的圣诗。且由J. Albert Jeffery谱曲。

这是一首充满了圣经宝训和爱国热情的圣诗。中国基督教协会出版的《赞美诗（新编）》收录该诗歌，列为第3首。

万世之宗，高居宝座荣耀中，

Ancient of Days, who sit test throne in glory,

万方之民众，叩拜敬而恭；

To Thee all knees are bent, all voice es pray;

有世以来，万灵一向蒙恩宠，

Thy love has blessed the wide world`s womdrous story,

真理与生命，自古常赐丰。

With light and life since Eden`s dawning day.

圣哉天父，历代导引众选民，

O holy Father, who hast led Thy children,

云柱与火柱，昼夜作南针；

In all the ages with the fire and could;

经过红海，经过旷野与山林，

Through seas dry shod, through weary wastes bewil d`ring,

我众行世路，求赐指导恩。

To Thee in rev`rentlove, our hearts are bowed.

圣哉耶稣，万民救主和平王，

O holy Jesus, Prince of peace and Saviour,

大爱奇妙力，宁息纷争浪；

To Thee we owe the peace that still prevails;

福音到处，凶顽强暴化驯良，

Stilling the rude wills of men`s wild be haviour,

和平临世界，赖主恩浩荡。

And calming passion`s fierce and stormy gales.

圣哉圣灵，赏赐我众新生命，

O holy Ghost, the Lord and the Life giver,

振我众精神，感我众内心；

Thine is the quick`ning power that gives in crease,

浩如河江，流来活力何丰盈，

From Thee have flowed, as from a pleasant river,

多欢欣快乐，多安慰和平。

Our plenty, wealth, prosperity, and peace.

圣哉三一，我众虔诚同屈膝，

O Triune God, with heart and voice a doring,

赞美慈悲神，大爱冠一切；

Praise we the goodness that doth crown our days;

恭敬求主，来日施恩如往日，

Pray we that Thou wilt hear us, still imploring,
